Welcome to Our Lady School PTA
Who Are We?
As a parent, you are automatically a member of the PTA and we are fortunate to have a PTA that is such an integral part of the school community.
The PTA raises thousands of pounds each year and this money is used to improve equipment and resources. But our PTA is about much, much more than just fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. It is fun too and a great way to meet new parents. The PTA is extremely conscious of the ethos and morals of our school and we try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this.
We hold our Annual General Meeting at the end of the school year where we vote in our Committee as well as Class Representatives. This year our members are:

Our Lady School PTA brings together parents, staff and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. This year has been another successful year for the OLS PTA. The many events that have been organised include:
Discos – Summer Fair – Christmas Fair – Cake sales – Race night – Quiz night – Mother’s Day Sale – Father’s Day Sale - Uniform sales
These events have helped raised money to fund events and resources for the children at OLS:
Circus workshop – Library books – Science books – Art resources – Hymn subscription – Parking signs – Sound system – African drumming workshop – Pasta making workshop – Y6 leavers hoodies – Lunch trolley
Our recommend supplier for photo booth and magic mirror hire is All Occasions Photo Booths. They will have their fantastic range of props at all events and guarantee great fun and memories.
How can you be involved?
As a parent of the school you are already part of the PTA. Involvement in the PTA can be on any level, from baking cakes for the cake stalls, helping out on a stall for half an hour at the fayres, coming up with fundraising ideas, attending PTA meetings, helping to organise fayres and events or simply by attending the events with your children and helping us raise funds.
It does not matter what your abilities are, or how much time you have, any help you can give is hugely appreciated. We understand that you may not be able to attend PTA meetings, but perhaps there is some other way you would like to be involved? Do you know someone who has a local business who would be willing to donate a raffle prize, advertise in an event brochure or give us a discount on their product? Does your company provide matched funding? Are you good at thinking of new ideas for different events or ways to raise funds?
It is hugely rewarding for us as parents and especially for our children.
If you would like to be involved, please talk to your Class Rep and they will be able to tell you what's going on or where help is needed.
