Modern Foreign Languages- Spanish
BackIntent
Our KS2 Spanish lessons are intended to offer a curriculum that enables the pupils the opportunity to become less insular and to be open to other cultures. Our intention is that by the end of KS2, our pupils will be able to listen to and understand Spanish and be able to express themselves. We want them to feel confident writing in that language too.
Implement
We implement Kapow Spanish program, a vibrant and interactive curriculum designed specifically for Key Stage 2 students. Through a variety of multimedia resources, songs, games, and interactive activities, students are immersed in the Spanish language and culture. Our curriculum is structured to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with a focus on communication. Lessons are designed to be engaging and accessible, catering to different learning styles and abilities, and encouraging active participation and collaboration.
Impact
Our wish is that pupils will become increasingly knowledgeable about the Spanish language and culture and will be able to express themselves with confidence, both orally and in the written form.
